About the Founder

Ann Kent has been helping companies grow for over 20 years.

Through a variety of senior management and leadership positions including sales, operations, and strategic planning, Ann has been able to have a direct impact on the growth of dozens of companies and hundreds of business units. It is what she loves to do! And she happens to be very good at it.

Ann has lead start-ups to market and grown existing companies. She has defined and implemented strategic initiatives and led multi-million dollar business units. She has helped acquire companies and has driven a more organic growth strategy. She knows how you feel being the "one person shop," as well as having over 300 employees relying on your leadership and vision for their livelihood. And Ann has done all of this while maintaining her strong moral compass—and making sure there is still joy in the workplace. As she says, "work is too large a part of most of our lives to not be having fun!"

Being a guide to others embarking on a new adventure, is one way Ann chooses to give back—and offer some level of homage to those who helped her success along the way. In addition to the existing client base of KENT Consulting Group, Ann continues to personally mentor other emerging women leaders, as well as allocate 20% of her time to support not-for-profit organizations in business growth.
